Are you passionate about improving the quality and safety of disability services? Here's your chance to join a highly regarded federal government agency dedicated to making a real impact on the lives of participants and providers in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Multiple positions in APS5 & APS6 levels available in all major cities in Australia.

1. APS6 - Senior Compliance/Investigations Officers

  • Lead compliance approaches and investigations inquiries/matters into disability service providers and support workers.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring and investigative activities to prevent and mitigate fraud against the NDIS.
  • Liaise with government agencies and Taskforce partners, producing briefing papers to address quality and safeguarding risks.
  • Implement and monitor the impact of regulatory action, including large-scale disruption activities.
  • Engage across the NDIS Commission's functions, fostering cross-functional strategies.
  • Prepare complex correspondence, reports, and submissions.

2. APS6 - Senior Project Officers

  • Contribute to proactive and reactive regulatory activities to promote compliance with the NDIS Act and Rules.
  • Conduct research and analysis to contribute insights and solve systemic regulatory challenges.
  • Support the design and implementation of regulatory campaigns to inform, educate, and influence NDIS stakeholders.
  • Utilize planning methodologies to implement and report against multiple compliance campaigns AND PROJECTs.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

3. APS5 - Compliance/Investigations Officers

  • Conduct compliance monitoring and investigative activities to prevent and mitigate fraud against the NDIS.
  • Liaise with government agencies and Taskforce partners, producing briefing papers to address risks.
  • Implement and monitor the impact of regulatory action, including large-scale disruption activities.
  • Engage in capability building activities to promote understanding and application of fraud prevention strategies.

Contribute to the planning and monitoring of work processes for a small team.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in compliance, investigations, or project management.
  • Knowledge of NDIS Act, NDIS Rules, and related legislation.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Australian Citizenship with an ability to obtain baseline security clearance.
