Seeking for a multi-skilled Architecture Draftsperson with experience in Landscaping,Architecture, Bio Architecture knowledge and willing to work under pressure.
We develop commercial and residential buildings with an emphasis on specialist disability accommodations, being an essential part of the role, to work in compliance with Building codes, Australian Standards, and SDA specifications.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in Planning and Organization:
- Collaborate with Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors to assist in the planning and organization of construction projects.
- Complete Architects' concepts by preparing drawings and plans, and liaising with builders and contractors
2. Interpretation of Plans, Regulations, and Codes:
- Interpret architectural plans, regulations, and codes of practice to ensure compliance and adherence to industry standards.
3. Preparation of Sketches, Drawings, and Specifications:
- Generate preliminary sketches, working drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior team members.
4. Editing and Revising Documentation:
- Prepare, edit, and revise plans, maps, charts, and drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Coordination of Works Programs:
- Work closely with the team to coordinate and monitor works programs, ensuring efficient project timelines.
6. Inspection of Work and Materials:
- Conduct regular inspections of work and materials to verify compliance with specifications, regulations, and quality standards.
7. Cost Calculation and Time Scale Estimation:
- Assist in calculating project costs and estimating time scales, contributing to effective project budgeting, and scheduling.
8. Data Collection Using Surveying Instruments:
- Utilize surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment to collect accurate and relevant data for project planning and execution.
9. Routine Computations and Preliminary Data Plotting:
- Perform routine computations and plot preliminary data, supporting the decision-making process in project development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field, and/or Certificate IV in residential Drafting
- At least 2 years’ work experiences post qualification required in the same or closely related position
- Strong proficiency in interpreting architectural plans and technical documents.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Position: Full time
Salary: 60,000-70,000
