We are currently seeking an EXPERIENCED EDUCATIONAL LEADER to join our dynamic team in Sydney as a Area Manager /Curriculum Advisor. As part of the Quality and Curriculum team, you will play a crucial role in inspiring, mentoring, and leading pedagogical practices across the centre teams.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Drive innovative contributions to curriculum and centre priorities in collaboration with the Quality and Curriculum and Network teams to 10-15 centres across Sydney.
- Advocate and lead business initiatives by providing in-centre support, mentoring, role-modelling, and empowering teams to enhance their pedagogical capacities.
- Contribute to the strategic direction, tools, resources, and professional learning for centre teams, fostering autonomy and ownership.
- Inspire, support, mentor, coach, and lead a network of Educational Leaders, promoting professional learning and retention.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, focusing on achieving agreed outcomes of our initiatives.
- Act as a visible advocate for curriculum initiatives through respectful partnerships.
- University degree in Early Childhood education preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Area Manager, Ed Lead or mentoring role within the Early Childhood sector.
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple complex sites (20+ sites).
- Proven ability in mentoring, coaching, and role-modelling to inspire others.
- Solid pedagogical understanding and practice.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills to engage, influence, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and develop strategies across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience in Assessment & Rating and planning for it.
- Innovative thinking, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to effective, practical strategies and solutions.
- Excellent written communication skills to contribute to content, support tools, and resources.
- Confidence, leadership skills, and the ability to advocate through internal and external forums.
