Job Summary:We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to lead and expand our restaurant operations within the Albury/Wodonga region. The Area Manager will be instrumental in ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness across all restaurants in the area, focusing on driving sales growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:- Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of Greenstreat restaurants in the Albury/Wodonga region, including Albury, Lavington & Wodonga venues.
- Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to stimulate area growth.
- Implement and oversee new systems and product introductions across all stores.
- Facilitate communication from executive leadership to area teams.
- Train, guide, and supervise restaurant managers and staff to ensure top-notch customer service and operational standards.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, landlords, and other vital area stakeholders.
- Conduct weekly meetings with store leaders and provide reports to the Directors.
- Participate in weekly operations meetings with a director to keep operations smooth and transparent.
- Participate in monthly meetings with the directors for the area Review Meeting.
- Monitor financial performance and suggest strategies to enhance profitability.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, and compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role within the restaurant or food service industry.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and operational efficiency in a multi-unit environment.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and manage a large team.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Skilled in data analysis and informed decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- At least 3 years of senior management experience in the restaurant or food service industry.
- Proven capability in managing high-volume, fast-paced food service operations.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant management, including food safety, inventory, and labor management.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
