AS4 Payments Officer

The Opportunity On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for multiple APS4 Payments Officers to join the team based in Richmond and Geelong. The role is a 12-month assignment working 37.5 hours per week, paying $44 per hour plus super. The APS4 Payments Officers will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to investigate and resolve outstanding payment requests and process manual payments. Responsibilities include; Investigating and resolving outstanding payment requests that have been rejected.Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment enquiries.Processing manual payments to providers and participantsWorking to resolve payment issues, guided by legislation, standards, and operating procedures.Contribute to decision-making within the team.Meet team and individual targets. Ensure knowledge of and compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks Maintaining an awareness of government decision-making processes, guidelines, and regulations To be considered for this role you will demonstrate; Strong administration and data entry skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet targets/deadlines.
