Asbestos/Hazmat Consultant/Occupational Hygienist

Property Risk Australia (PRA) is a risk management consultancy established in 2016, led by experienced industry leaders with offices in Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra and Melbourne. We are currently looking for professionals to join our Canberra team. The position would suit a mid level person looking for more responsibility.

We encourage professionals with greater than two years of experience to apply with the following core areas:

• Asbestos/hazardous materials surveys, abatement and remediation projects; and/or
• Occupational hygiene monitoring and risk assessments.

The following attributes would be preferred:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience;
• Licenced Asbestos Assessor (demonstrated ability to obtain);
• Ability to project manage projects;
• Potentially grow and assist develop a team of junior/graduate consultants;
• Maintain current and grow/establish new client relationships;
• Understanding of ISO and NATA process
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent reporting ability and attention to detail;
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically;
• Ability to deliver training presentations;
• Ability to communicate with clients and other key stakeholders; and
• Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills.
