Ascender Configuration Analyst

WA higher education provider looking for an Ascender Configuration Analyst to help them identify and implement solutions within Ascender Payroll systems.

Our client is a great WA higher education provider with great history looking for an Ascender Payroll Solution Design and Configuration Consultant for the next 6 months on a daily rate arrangement based in Perth's Western Suburbs. They have a group of switched on and motivated people who are looking for a candidate with to help with their internal Ascender capability and who has a strong technical and business hybrid SME capability.

• 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
• Perth western suburb locations (WFH must be requested as per client's requirements) On-Site and remote work as required by our client.
• Perth based candidates preferred but open to Australia based candidates ONLY with Australian full work rights as a minimum requirement due to the nature of this role.
• Daily 6-month appointment on a daily rate engagement.
• Higher education industry award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances and superannuation.

Role Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement solutions within Ascender Payroll for our client:
  • time and attendance requirements for both professional and academic staff that adhere to relevant enterprise agreements.
  • overtime and time off in lieu processes
  • additional hours for part-time employees' process.

Required skills and background:

• Ascender Payroll solution design and configuration skills, including interpretive timesheets.
• Experience specifying requirements for integrations with Ascender Payroll.
• Ideally Perth based or willing to relocate at own expense to Perth for 6 months.
• Medium to expert level experience in SQL related activities with Ascender Payroll.
• Experience in overall integrations and TO BE processes.
