About the Role:
As part of the education eco-system, Skills SA connects industries, employers and training providers with South Australians. Our services improve the education and development outcomes for children right through to their transition to adulthood, reflecting our commitment to support every child towards their aspirations. Working with a broad range of stakeholders, Skills SA plays an important role by:
- Matching the state’s current and anticipated employment demands with training;
- Ensuring employers can access workers with skills required to run and grow their business;
- Ensuring South Australians can get the quality training that will help them find a job and build a career.
The Senior Information Analyst plays a key role in the production of accurate and timely complex information and advice to support whole of Government objectives associated with vocational education and training and South Australia’s traineeship and apprenticeship system.
In this context the Senior Information Analyst provides expert advice relating to regulatory trends and requirements, delivers statistical and management reporting, ensures accuracy and currency of key traineeship and apprenticeship data, and helps enhance performance through supporting significant change and/or improvement projects and processes.
Qualifications:
Desirable: Degree in a relevant discipline.
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO6 $97,022 - $102,626 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation
