About the Role

The Forecasting Analyst undertakes spatial analysis and forecasting analysis to drive informed decision making and effective planning. They undertake analysis of spatial and demographic data, and develop tools and products that provide well-defined forecasting, strategic modeling, integrated service planning and scenario analysis. The Forecasting Analyst will design and undertake a program of repeatable analyses and automated reporting to inform future potential outcomes under a range of policy scenarios. They will maintain a focus on continuous improvement and lead the regular update of products and processes to better inform the department's strategy.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.  The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration

ASO7: $106,512 - $115,137 per annum plus superannuation
