Responsibilities:
- Perform asphalt paving and road construction tasks according to project specifications.
- Operate and maintain asphalt equipment, including pavers, rollers, and other machinery.
- Lay asphalt to the required thickness and ensure proper compaction for durability.
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and tampers to finish surfaces.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- Proven experience as an Asphalt Road Worker
- Knowledge of asphalt materials, mixtures, and application techniques.
- Ability to operate and maintain asphalt equipment and machinery.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Valid driver's license
