As one of Australia's largest and most experienced construction materials suppliers, our client has the resources and the expertise to perform for customers Australia wide.What Will You Be Doing?WorkPac is seeking a dedicated and reliable asphalt labourer and civil operatorsto work Monday - Friday with weekend work when needed. You will predominately be based in Mackay but will need to travel where the projects are.Assist in the preparation and laying of asphalt on roads, and other surfaces.Operate and maintain equipment used in asphalt paving, including rollers, pavers, and other machinery.Perform manual labour tasks such as shovelling, raking, and smoothing asphalt.Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times on the job site.Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.Assist in site clean-up and maintenance of tools and equipment.What You Will Need:Civil background (ideally with Asphalt experience)Previous experience in asphalt paving or a similar labour-intensive role is preferred but not required.Good communication skills and a positive attitude.Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required.Valid driver's license.Benefits:Monday - Friday with overtime availablePositive and supportive work environment.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.About WorkPac:The WorkPac Group is Australia's largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
