Assembly Worker

Thermoline Scientific is family owned and operated manufacturing a high quality range of testing and research equipment commonly found in hospital and university laboratories, as well as covering many different private and government organisations. Our company is experiencing a period of growth and, as such, is looking to take on someone new for this role.

About the opportunity

We have a position available for a reliable and motivated person interested in joining our assembly team. This particular role will have have a focus specifically on the electrical aspect including wiring controllers, PLC's, touch screens and fit out of other components such as fan motors, heating elements and doors.

• Full time position (3 month probation period applies)
• Workshop position – No site work
• Focus on the electrical stages of assembly of various products (installation of PID controllers, PLC, SSR, elec connection of refrigeration valves, heating elements)

• 38 hour week with 6am-2:30pm Mon-Thurs and 12pm finish on Fridays

Successful applicant will require:

• Trade certificate or relevant experience (Electrical/electronics or suitable mechanical or engineering will be considered)
• Experience with low voltage and 240V
• Experience with working in team environments
• Understanding of Electrical theory and concepts
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret technical electrical schematics
• Positive attitude to work, authority and safety
• Positive attitude to cleanliness
• Own transport

We are located at a modern facility in the Wetherill Park industrial area. You should be reasonably located to Wetherill Park
