What are we looking for in a Production Operator?
Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment operating machinery is an advantage. However, if you have great hand-eye coordination, can work at a fast pace, and are safety conscious, then you maybe considered for this role.
In addition:
- Are reliable and respectful towards others
- Demonstrate a positive and motivated work ethic
- Attention to detail is a must with a high level of accuracy
- Be willing to learn and be trained for success
- Mechanical aptitude is an advantage
- Must be able to display a high level of dexterity
- Must be able to obtain an Explosives Licence including a high level Police Clearance
- Have a reliable car and current drivers licence.
- This role will focus on running the EBS machine and associated work stations
- Set up and operate equipment in accordance with work instructions & procedures
- Loading coiled wire onto machinery
- Crimping of detonators onto wire assembly
- Packing assembled product in to boxes in required formats
- Quality & inspections and recording
- Perform basic mathematical equations and basic report writing
- Ensure all operations are performed to procedures and WHS and environmental requirement
- Above award hourly rate
