Our Opportunity:
Join our global team at Newmont Australia as an Asset Health Analyst! In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in supporting our mine sites worldwide by monitoring and analysing equipment through electronic telemetry, oil analysis and operational data.
Your work will focus on using analytical tools to assist site in preventing major component failure on our mobile fleet, resulting in optimal fleet reliability and increased overall production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse equipment data and raise work notifications, providing troubleshooting guidance.
- Develop and prioritize solutions to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Build relationships and coach site teams to ensure effective work management practices.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Share best practices and technical insights across Newmont’s global portfolio.

About You:
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- Relevant trade qualifications (mechanical or electrical) with experience in mobile equipment maintenance and production reliability.
- Proficiency in analysing equipment and operational data to proactively diagnose and predict asset component failure
- Ability to analyse multiple data sources and recommend corrective actions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including coaching and influencing site personnel.
- Proficiency in office software like Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of onboard electronic data and systems, such as VIMS and Minestar would be beneficial.
- Strong experience working with Caterpillar mobile mining equipment advantageous
