Technical Services provides global support and expertise to Newmont and its operating businesses across a range of specialised technical functions. 
As part of Global Technical Services, the Asset Management (AM) function is responsible for creating and implementing effective global asset strategies, delivering efficient asset planning and strategic insights to drive exceptional global asset performance across Newmont’s portfolio. AM, aims to ensure that Newmont’s asset management processes, systems and capabilities are a source of sustainable and considerable competitive advantage for Newmont. 
 
The Asset Health Senior Manager position is a significant leadership role within the AM function, and you will draw on your expertise as a people manager, strategic thinker, project manager, communicator, technical subject matter expert, and data driven problem solver. 
Key outcomes include:
-Managing the execution of, and at times defining, strategic direction for Asset Health to monitor, coach and intervene based on analytical insights to maximise equipment reliability.
-Ensure Asset Health related improvements are replicated across the organisation.
-Drive AM and reliability best practices and technical vision across Newmont portfolio. 
 
About You
You will hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience together with detailed knowledge of fixed assets within mining and resources or a comparable industry. Your strong understanding of specialised condition monitoring systems and analysis, inclusive of implementing online/remote condition monitoring systems will be essential for your success in this role.
Skills in analysis of integrated data sources to determine corrective actions and application of Reliability and Failure Analysis tools together with intermediate level of SAP and a demonstrated ability to create data-driven business decisions will be needed. 
Your experienced in leading multi-function, geographically dispersed teams with people skills at a level to ensure you can deliver performance improvement initiatives in a complex and global organisation. 
You will be able to manage and influence across different sites regions and functions, and the adeptness to meet the frequent out of normal office hours requirements of leading a global team and project. You will be able to demonstrate initiative and leadership in promoting Newmont’s safety standards and improvements in achieving a global Newmont culture of safety and health. 
Key Role Requirements 
-Lead and develop a high performing team of Asset Health analysts and hydrocarbon specialists.
-Responsible for identifying new technology to drive insights and ensuring the connectivity and reliability of existing systems.
-Provide insights to relevant personnel to review performance outputs and recommendations on areas of continuous improvement.
-Maintain relevant dashboards and reports to measure, analyse and determine actionable. 
-Provide direction, input, and oversight for global programs to drive Asset Health improvements.
-Drive competency program for Asset Health analysts, enabling career pipeline for site and central personnel.
-Develop operational expenditure forecasts and manage Asset Health capital expenditure.
-Establish and manage or Asset Health related contracts/outline agreements.
-Establish strong collaborative relationships with site-based personnel.
-Lead regional Asset Health performance meetings to provide insights and operational improvement opportunities. 
-Drive Asset Health collaborative networks across the organisation through regular regional collaborative forums and platforms. 
 
The position is office based and the successful incumbent can be based in Perth or Denver.  Flexibility in working hours will be required to accommodate the global nature of the role which will include travel to domestic and international sites.
