About The Position
The City is seeking an Asset Management Data Analyst to assist the Asset Planning team by providing an asset data management service to support business activities and Asset Management functions to meet the City's strategic Asset Management objectives.
The successful appointee will be responsible for ongoing administration and data stewardship of the City's GIS and Assetic Asset Management Information System (AMIS) including the configuration and delivery of systems, analysis of data and producing reports.
About You
The successful appointee must be adaptable and ready to take on a challenge. The role would be perfectly suited to someone with the following skills and experience:
Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Geographical Information Systems or a related field or equivalent experience.
Relevant experience in a similar role within an Asset Management industry.
Demonstrated experience utilising Asset Management Information Systems including, managing asset inventories, works management, condition assessments, works and renewal modelling and financial reporting.
Experience with use of the Assetic Asset Management System is desirable.
Advanced experience in the efficient utilisation of information systems and technology.
Advanced data management software skills.
Knowledge of GIS, web mapping products and GPS technology.
Advanced computing, numeracy and literacy skills.
Intermediate organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
Intermediate customer service skills.
Intermediate communication and problem solving skills.
Advanced research and analysis skills.
Knowledge of Power BI is desirable Knowledge of the practical application of occupational health and safety measures in the workplace including hazard identification when undertaking site visits.
