As an Asset Management specialist, the candidate is required to build, maintain, and support a program designed to keep an accurate inventory of Point of Sale assets throughout the enterprise from procurement to retirement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Holder
- At least 5+ years experience
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain a policy for effective asset life cycle management
- Negotiate with selected suppliers to achieve Best-in-Class terms on cost, delivery lead time, payment items, warranty, and Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Administer standard contract terms and conditions with selected suppliers to ensure compliance in commercial and legal obligations; liaises between supplier, and internal stakeholders, and Legal (as appropriate) to ensure parties agree on the contractual language, content, and metrics.
- Reconcile, audit, and verify Hardware purchases licenses against CMDB /AMDB currently in use.
- Conduct sourcing on a per need basis
- Contract negotiations and/or overall contract management with the supplier
- Forecast future demands by working with other departments in organization.
- Identify opportunities to optimize unused POS assets in the organization.
- Document changes and author documentation on Asset Management standards and practices
- Improve workflow for accurate reporting of inventory across the organization
- Serve as a primary point of contact for POS Asset Management across the enterprise.
- Develop and maintain POS tracking processes.
- Handle Stakeholder Engagement
- Educate Contract Administrators on monitoring and review of SLA and performance management with suppliers and internal stakeholders a basis for contract renewal or termination
