Details: The Strategic Infrastructure and Sustainability section within the Asset Management and Delivery (AMD) Branch of the Education Directorate (EDU) provides strategic facility and asset management for a large and diverse portfolio of ACT public schools and EDU facilities.
The Asset Strategies team within the section is seeking applications for Assets Auditors to work as a part of a program management team to coordinate and undertake audits at ACT public schools across the Territory, including onsite inspections to capture EDU asset data.
The positions are required to capture and record details of EDU facilities, assets and equipment and complete reporting on current operational/condition status; provide support to stakeholders; collate data and provide assessments; and represent the Asset Strategies team in discussions with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Applicants will require experience with building facilities, asset management and construction, particularly in relation to operational asset assessment; a proven ability to use complex software systems, including asset management software; strong attention to detail and good oral and written communication skills; and demonstrated stakeholder management, negotiation and liaison skills.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
Mandatory:
- A current driving licence.
- Hold a relevant professional qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Sustainability or Project Management or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia; or hold a relevant building degree; or have significant building or infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience relevant to the role.
Highly desirable:
- Possession of a Construction Industry 'white card', Asbestos Awareness training certificate and Working with Vulnerable Persons Card or willingness to complete the required training.
