About the role
As the Assets Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of our company’s assets, ensuring their efficient utilization and maximum value realization. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing asset management strategies that align with Willoughby City Council’s business objectives and support sustainable growth. You will lead a high performing team to deliver key initiatives including: strategic asset management planning; implementation of the asset management strategy and improvement plan, asset management system, reporting and analysis to drive decision-making.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant area such as asset planning / management, engineering and/or extensive experience in a similar position.
- Demonstrated high level leadership skills and the ability to lead, motivate and develop staff resources.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and techniques, as well as relevant regulations and standards.
- High level ability to influence, gain co-operation and effect change within the organisation through strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in asset performance systems, statistical data capture, manipulation, analysis and performance reporting.
