We are looking for an experienced Storeperson to assist in the operation of the Asset Store and will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning the store area, the issuing and returning of equipment, ensuring sufficient stock of equipment is maintained and assist the Operations Department as directed during the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
About you…
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
- Previous experience as a Storeperson working with large scale events or the commercial/industrial industry would be an advantage
- Current Forklift licence (desirable)
- WHS understanding/training (desirable)
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be energetic and committed
- Time management, organisational skills and the ability to take initiative
- Willingness to work inside and outside, in all conditions
- A reasonable level of fitness to perform the duties of this role
- Be able to work weekdays, weekends, Public Holidays and late nights
- Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia.
