Assistance In Nursing - Ongoing Contracts

Our client in the public sector is seeking a dynamic and experienced AIN to join their team in Northern New South Wales.

Job Highlights:

Skills and Experience:

• Compassion and empathy for clients' needs.
• Minimum of 1 year and 6 months of experience
• Effective communication with clients, family, and professionals
• Proficiency in personal care and mobility assistance
• Knowledge of medication management and safety protocols
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and provide client-centered care.

Role Summary:

• Personal Care Provider: Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Health Monitoring: Observing residents' health status and reporting any changes or concerns to registered nurses or healthcare professionals.
• Mobility Assistance: Helping residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to maintain their independence and safety.
• Assistance with Meals: Assisting residents with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration.
• Social Support: Providing emotional support, companionship, and engaging residents in recreational activities to promote their well-being and quality of life.

To be successful:

• Must hold a relevant certificate.
• Must be a citizen or Permanent resident.
• Willing to commit to a full-time contract position, which is ongoing.
• NDISWC required.
• Must be vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated.
• Must have extensive experience.
