Your opportunity
Due to rapid growth, Unicorn Risk Solutions are seeking a proactive Assistant Account Executive (Assistant Insurance Broker) to assist in managing a portfolio of commercial and corporate clients.
Reporting to the senior broker, your key responsibilities will include:
- To offer a high standard of office support and assistance to Managerial and Broking employees
- Processing of new business, endorsements and renewals
- Providing and following up on quotations
- Preparing correspondence for clients
- Updating reports
- Respond to enquiries and requests for action from Account Executives and Junior Brokers
- Strong attention to detail.
- A true sense of urgency and commitment to market leading customer service.
- 2-5 years insurance industry experience.
- Global Corporate / Commercial Insurance experience will be highly advantageous.
- Relevant insurance broking certification coupled with relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications.
- Working towards Tier 1 qualification
- High level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong organisational and operational skills
Unicorn Risk Solutions are also seeking an experienced Account Executive (Insurance Broker) to assist in managing a portfolio of commercial and corporate clients.
Reporting to the Partners and other senior brokers, your key responsibilities will include:
- Service and manage the requirements of a portfolio of key revenue generating clients.
- Ensuring high quality customer service and advice is provided to clients
- Leading, planning and implementing clear and effective renewal and broking strategies.
- Ensuring that effective account retention and risk strategies are in place for all clients at all times.
- Maintaining an active and direct involvement in complex claims management.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A true sense of urgency and commitment to market leading customer service.
- 8-10 years insurance industry experience.
- Global Corporate / Commercial Insurance experience will be highly advantageous.
- Relevant insurance broking certification coupled with relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications.
- High level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong organisational and operational skills
- Interest in developing leadership qualities will assist your application.
