What you need to know...

  • Permanent full time - 76 hours per fortnight
  • the package: $56,132 - $66,939 plus superannuation, per annum
  • location - South Grafton
  • 9 day fortnight 
  • access to fitness passport 

About the role

The position of Assistant Animal Control reports to the Regulatory Services Supervisor and is required to assist in the day to day operation of Council's Pound and Animal Control activities, including cleaning of kennels and cages. The position also assists in conducting of community awareness programs on matters relating to Animal Control and regulation.

This position is located at the Council's Clarence Valley Animal Shelter, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
