About the role
As the Assistant Branch Manager in our Tamworth branch you will assist the Branch Manager with the overall performance of the branch by developing and coaching staff, motivating the team to achieve the branches goals, aiding with compliance and audit requirements, and acting as the primary point of contact for member enquiries at the branch, providing an exceptional level of customer service.
What will your key responsibilities include?
- Act as first point of contact, positively interacting with customers and building strong personal relationships.
- Identifying customer needs and offering appropriate solutions with our comprehensive range of products and services.
- Support the Branch Manager and drive branch sales whilst working collaboratively to contribute to team and corporate performance expectations.
- Prepare and delivery reporting.
- Effectively manage and deal with any complaints and disputes.
- Developing and coaching of staff.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a frontline leadership role (including relief and step-up supervisory positions.)
- Demonstrated experience in high volume cash handling.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly having dealt with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and resolve member enquiries and/or complaints.
- Experience working to strict policies and procedures in a highly compliant environment.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate and encourage others to achieve goals.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
