Pay: Ranges from $34.63 to $56.99 per hour - Experience and Qualification dependent

Are you an experienced early learning professional who’s ready to take their career to the next level, honing leadership skills and helping to build a successful business?
As the Assistant Director, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team and establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.
In this role, you will:

Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
•
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
•
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
•
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart:
Goodstart Early Leaning Stuart Park is located in the inner Darwin area along side the Stuart Highway. Licenced for 75 children per day, ranging from Nursey to Preschool aged. At Goodstart Stuart Park our dedicated staff are committed to providing the children in our care positive learning experiences that encourage and promote development. The centres rooms are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and Play Based Learning opportunities.
Our amazing and passionate Director Harshani has been with Goodstart since 2009, during that time she has experience across many different roles from Assistant, Group Leader and up to Centre Director. She believes in developing the foundations for children to create the best start in life in their first five years.
