About you:
Are you passionate about wine and eager to embark on a global journey with one of Barossa's finest wineries? We are seeking a fluent Mandarin and English speaker as a full-time Assistant Export Manager Asia to join our dynamic team.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Asia Export Manager in developing and executing export strategies to increase market presence and sales.
- Coordinate shipments and logistics for international orders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with distributors, importers, and customers across Asia.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to international clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track performance and inform decision-making.
- Support our cellar door team hosting our Chinese visitors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English language, speaking and written.
- Previous experience in export sales or international business, preferably within the wine industry.
- High level attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
