Form of workClient is a boutique residential property developer and builder based on the sunny Gold Coast. They specialise in high end design, high quality and technological advanced townhouse developments across the Gold Coast and northern NSW. At growth phase as they bring increasing number of resources in house, they are looking to engage an Assistant / junior Development Manager to join the team.
Your new role.
The role will involve working with development Manager on: -
- Site / project acquisition including the due diligence and financial feasibility modelling process. This will involve working with local real estate organisations and private sellers, to source suitable sites, compiling and assessing comparable sales and negotiating price.
- Working with sub consultants including town planners on DA and variety of architectural, engineering firms as required through the design process.
- Collaborating with build team assisting with the assessment of construction programs and claims. This includes contract administration function.
- Assist the Development Manager & Directors in managing progress, budgets, risks, and opportunities, providing analysis and reporting to variety of stakeholders.
What you will need to succeed
Ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in property economics, urban development or similar and have minimum 1 years’ experience working in similar property-based role, with financier or property related business.
Candidates would have good knowledge of property development, preferably related to the residential industry and ideally one with focus on both high-quality design and pushing the envelope in terms of technological advanced building materials.
Candidates would have some experience of project feasibility process and a general understanding of property development, particularly consultancy / contractor management and financial controls.
Ideal candidate will have market knowledge of the Gold Coast area.

They are offering a role based on the beautiful Gold Coast and salary commensurate with experience. Suggest in the $75-85k range, but flexible either end depending on experience.
