The RoleAn opportunity for an immediate start for an experienced and knowledgeable Assistant Maintenance Manager. In this role you will be based at El Questro The Station and report directly to the Maintenance Manager. With a strong operational focus, you will assist in ensuring day to day operation of the department, prioritizing activities and delegating duties to the team. You will assist in ensuring complaint, safe and high-quality work is carried out across all 3 properties within El Questro on time and within budget.
There is a technology aspect of the role, in which the Assistant Maintenance Manager would be required to put in purchasing orders, roster staff and manage online timesheets.
Skills & Experience
- Proven Maintenance experience in a similar role
- Ability to manage a diverse team to achieve high guest satisfaction and meet business objectives
- Deliver prompt and efficient maintenance solutions
- Highly developed problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to maximise the use of resources whilst adhering to budgetary requirements
- Proven ability to comply with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines
- An enthusiastic and energetic approach to the role
- Experience with STP, WTP and Generators is highly regarded
Qualifications & Certificates:
- Trade Qualified Plumber
- Unrestricted / Open Manual Driver's License
- Applicable Licenses(s) to perform duties i.e.: Chainsaw, Forklift
- Workplace Health and Safety Representative Training (Highly Regarded).
- Pool Operators Certificate (Highly Regarded)
- Must be confident using computer systems
- Senior First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at El Questro. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time.
