Job Description:
To help shape our purpose, we are seeking a team mate that will contribute and embrace a positive team environment, as well as having a great sense of humour while celebrating different personalities in the workplace.
As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to support the efficient and effective day to day operations of the company. You will play a crucial role in upholding our high customer service standards, providing leadership for other team members, and facilitating communication across all departments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth workflow and effective communication.
- Coordinate and oversee projects and initiatives, working closely with the Centre Manager.
- Collaborate with Centre Manager and provide insights of performance of other team members and drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and other departments, ensuring alignment and accountability.
- Assist the Centre Manager with reports, centre meetings, and interviews as required.
- Handling incoming calls and emails from customers as well as making outbound calls to customers.
- Interacting with customers in online chat portals.
- Responding to questions about the company, its products or services
- Resolving customer complaints and escalating them when necessary
- Processing orders, invoices, payments, claims, credits and refunds.
- Updating and maintaining records of customer interactions.
- Help maintain a positive and fun work environment, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
- General facility maintenance such as light cleaning.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Excellent communication and human skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to remain calm when interacting with customers and other team members who are stressed or upset.
- Able to work 38 plus hour weeks rotating roster(Mon-Sun)
You do not need to know about go karting or racing, on the job training will be provided.
