Assistant Manager / Housekeeper - Apartment Hotels
We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Manager / Housekeeper for one of our 4-star Apartment Hotels in Melbourne. This is a live-in or off-site position.

Ideal candidate
Using your previous hospitality management experience, you will be hands-on, provide creativity and a willingness to support your team. Our Assistant Property Managers must have a genuine passion for hospitality, a calmness under pressure with an eye for detail in facility, service, and product delivery.
Attributes
- Experience as a Housekeeping supervisor who is also cross-trained on the front desk
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills both written and oral.
This is a live-in or live-out position.
The ideal candidate must be proactive, ready to engage directly in various operational facets, including housekeeping and front office tasks.
A track record of relevant experience is essential.
Responsibilities include managing caretaking duties, addressing minor maintenance needs, collaborating with head office and the Owners Corporation on issues pertaining to the apartment or building, and striving for optimal results in partnership with the central office.
Support and professional development will be provided by a regional manager located in Melbourne, offering a balance of independence with structured guidance through regular meetings. This live-in role also entails handling emergency calls during nighttime hours.
