We are seeking exceptional and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager for T’ang Court to provide bespoke and seamless service to bring this culinary masterpiece to life.
Key Responsibilities
Our dedicated food & beverage professional will provide attentive and bespoke service, and have a superior menu and wine knowledge to establish the T’ang Court experience as one of the most exquisite dining experiences in Australia.
As an experienced and passionate food and beverage professional, you will assist the Restaurant Manager to ensure that the outlet is managed efficiently according to the established concept statement, providing courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and flexible service at all times.
As a driven individual with a natural affinity for service and sales you will enhance this experience, to create great memories for our guests that celebrates the everyday.
In the absence of Restaurant Manager, ensure efficient running of the T'ang court. To take a visible management approach ensuring leadership on rostered shift assessing service standards and staffing requirements and coordinating with Restaurant Manager with the staff movements and sections based on strengths of the team.
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in the role you will have experience at a Hatted /Premier Restaurant, luxury hotel and/or International Hotel Brand/s.
Other key attributes we are looking for include:
- Relevant experience in luxury hospitality industry or Chinese restaurant
- Wine Knowledge (WSET Qualification desirable), familiar with wine pairing
- Availability to work weekends and nights
- Cantonese / Mandarin Speaking preferred.
- Knowledgeable in Cantonese cuisine.
- Excellent communication and upselling skills
