ABOUT THE ROLE:
Sales & Business Management:
- Monitor and perform a sales ritual in line with brand policy ensuring the team provide excellent customer service (presales, in-sales, aftersales). Has strong product and pricing knowledge.
- Analyse objectives provided by the Store Manager to the sales staff and verify their achievement
- Ensure impeccable aesthetics in the store (furniture, technical equipment, lights etc) requesting any needed technical maintenance
- Ensure impeccable internal visual and windows display following VM guidelines
- Regularly reviews each sales assistant’s client book to ensure current client contact details and purchases are logged
Personnel Development and Management:
- Organise and conduct staff induction programs ensuring new hires are quickly and efficiently integrated
- Organise and conduct staff training programs to enhance product skills, customer service, CRM, VM, sales technique, stock management. Ensure all tasks are performed in an efficient and effective manner
- Support the Store Manager during daily morning briefs enhancing staff animation, motivation and commitment
- Assist the Store Manager in making the periodical staff performance evaluation
- Swiftly and professionally manage all store incidents, enforcing disciplinary actions where needed
Operations:
- Observe and apply Company policies and procedures, ensuring that all directives are observed in the store (including health and safety regulations, loss prevention, HR policy, cash management)
- Support the Store Manager on staffing roster, annual leave always ensuring proper coverage of the selling floor and smooth store operations
- Oversee management of Stockroom space and ensure availability of the full range of items in the collection (granting quick access to core categories). Monitor Stockroom spaces dedicated for example to repairs, packaging, VM tools and products for in-house use
- Supervise goods receiving and stock management are always efficient and timely
- Check the status of repaired, and altered products, and products for in-house use, on a daily basis
- Help the Store Manager maintaining organization of administrative responsibilities (sales reports, petty cash) and supervise cash procedures and regulation
