Opportunity for an experienced Retail Assistant Store Manager to join us, and support a Brand new team as we embark with an exciting new store at Cairns Domestic Airport.
Bringing an exciting mix of local and well known global brands (many coming to Cairns for the very first time), our store will offer a range of the best in perfume and cosmetics, clothing and footwear for the whole family and luggage to take it home in.
We are looking for someone who can start now, and be involved with the set up of our amazing new store. This is an awesome chance for you to support our new Store Manager with the recruitment, training and day-to-day management of this great new location.
This is a fast paced, varied, and hands-on role with a strong focus on customer service and people management
We’re looking for an experienced 2IC who will:
- Manage the day-to-day store operations alongside and in the absence of the Store Manager
- Provide a high standard of customer service
- Lead from the front and ensure all team members are motivated and perform tasks according to standards and procedures
- Support in the administration of rosters and timecards
- Be a true brand ambassador & foster a collaborative team environment; encourage a high-performance culture
- Provide effective training to staff in the areas of customer service, product knowledge, inventory control and merchandising
We seek a motivated individual who supports our customer-centric values, where the full energy and activity of the store team is focused on delivering a highly satisfying world class customer experience. Experience in apparel or travel retail will be highly regarded, but not essential.
As we're located in a dynamic airport environment, we operate outside typical business hours. We are looking for someone who is reasonably flexible with availability as trading hours will fall outside normal business hours.
