Why Bedshed?
Join Bedshed Joondalup, where it’s not just customers that are valued and listened to. Here, we empower you to contribute and make a difference in people’s lives. Our success is built on the memorable connections you make with others, the positive impact you provide in each interaction. We want to provide all those who join our team with the opportunity to improve the experience we offer and help achieve our ambitions for the future.
About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Joondalup company store team and take a hands-on role as we prepare to move into our amazing new store. Passionate about leading a successful team to consistently provide superior customer service, you are driven to achieve the store’s desired outcomes.
This includes identifying and providing advice to customers on products, consistently delivering agreed store standards, effectively leading and developing the team to reach sales targets and ensuring correct compliance with our procedures. This role will also involved some physical manual handling work around the store.
You will assist in inducting and training staff to maximise their customer opportunities, monitoring their growth and providing ongoing feedback. You will also be responsible for planning rosters in advance and providing timely information to all staff to maintain alignment across the store.
About you
Collaborative by nature, you are quick to connect with others and motivated to build positive relationships. Your ability to communicate openly and honestly allows you to build rapport and gain peoples’ trust through conversation.
Proactive in your approach, you are comfortable initiating projects and committed to achieving the goals set out within the store. You understand the importance of bringing the team along in this journey, supporting and guiding them to achieve success.
Most importantly, you are enthusiastic about inspiring others – whether that’s pulling together products to create a customer’s vision or helping encourage your team for the week ahead, you aim for connection.
What else
Previous experience in a similar role would be well considered, but ultimately you have a can-do attitude and a drive to contribute to the overall stores’ success plan. With a people orientated approach, you work well in environments where you can help others.
