AddressClifton Springs Golf Club is situated on the Bellarine Peninsula about 20km east Geelong centre. The club has picturesque views across Port Phillip bay to the Melbourne CBD, along with views of the Yea Yangs. We are one of the premier golf courses on the Bellarine, with Curlewis Golf Club and Port Arlington being our closest neighbours.
Our current Assistant Superintendent has decided to further his career, so we are now looking for a new person. This role reports to our Course Superintendent and is part of our on course team, that consists of 5 members. This team is responsible for the practice areas, golf course and club house grounds.
Key Responsibilities:- work health and safety - implementing and maintaining safe work practices for the team.
- scheduling and monitoring course irrigation (Toro SitePro system)
- co-ordinating day to day work schedules for the team
- ensuring routine asset maintenance
- leading the team and work schedule on a relief basis during the Superintendent's periods of absence
- can establish and maintain effective working relationships
- good communication skills
- are proactive and use your initiative to solve problems
- are self motivated with the ability to lead and motivate others
- are willing to work flexible hours including rostered weekends
- have attention to detail
- have a knowledge of the game of golf and golf industry
- Certificate III in Turf Management
- have or be willing to complete the Diploma of Sports Turf Management
- current ACUP
- Drivers Licence
