The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Manager or up and coming Supervisor/Duty Manager to assist our Venue Operations Manager in overseeing the service and offering of this award winning venue and product!
The AM role is pivotal in the overall success of this family owned business, and as such is responsible for assisting the Ops Manager in the efficient running and overseeing of the operation as a whole.
This exciting and dynamic role is suited to an energetic hospitality enthusiast, who is ready for the next step in leadership and management in a large scale operation.
Ideally suited to an up and coming Supervisor or Manager, or seasoned Manager looking for great work/life balance in an exciting and continuously growing business, this role has endless opportunities of growth & expansion for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining full front of house operational support to supervisors, team leaders and casuals at all times
- Understand and recognize key elements of the strategic plan and how to impact achieving them with success in the operations
- Assist in providing communications, training and understanding to all staff relating to sales campaigns, packages & upselling opportunities
- Conduct & review the efficiencies and value of Tours. Conduct all training to appropriate staff to host tours with full understanding of the story & history of Core
- Ensure all SOP's are regularly updated and appropriate whilst delivering training to supervisors, team leaders & casual staff
- Provide structured training for all staff in relation to product knowledge and service standards
- Assist in maintaining a culture of open communication, innovation and excellence, to ensure staff have the support and skills to excel in their roles
What you will bring:

- At least 2 years proven experience in a high level supervisory or management role
- The ability to guide, motivate and inspire staff to achieve a fun, positive company culture
- An unshakeable passion for the hospitality and tourism industry with a mature ‘hands on’ approach
- The ability to work in a multi-faceted large scale venue with a fast paced environment
- Impeccable attention to detail and cleanliness
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Functions, weddings & high volume venue experience is preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Full working rights
- Up to date first aid certificate desirable
