Assistant/Team Leader Role

Permanent Part time (Minimum of 25hrs/week)

A hands on all rounder role, reporting to the Business Development Manager, with the possibility for a future management position. This is a highly customer focused position and requires an individual that can lead by example in meeting and maintaining our standards. In addition, you will:

• Be available to assist with guest queries and effectively handle guest complaints.
• Liaise with guests during their stay on a regular basis.
• Respond to reviews and manage social media content.
• Be available to work across all shift types including weekend work, public holidays as required.
• Responsible for Front Office Manager duties in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
• Participate in workplace consultation on matters pertaining to WHS, as required.
• Assist the Business Development Manager as required.

The successful candidate needs to:  

• Have passion for tourism and hospitality and their guests.
• Think outside the box and enjoy problem solving.
• Have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Have an interest in learning new skills if not already experienced in marketing, social media and business development.

Skills and Experience:

• Have a background in Front Office operations or prior hotel experience.
• Experience with Room Master will be highly regarded.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• You love working in a fast-paced environment. 
• Provide quality service to our guest by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
