The Opportunity
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced and professional Associate Adviser (AA) who is passionate about what they do, to join our team in Sydney or Adelaide. As an AA you will work closely with our Private Wealth Advisers (PWAs) to deliver the best outcome for our clients through detailed analysis and modelling, data collection, calculations, research and your ability to discuss client situations, objectives and strategy.
The AA role is responsible for supporting the preparation of accurate and comprehensive advice documents for varied complexity of client scenarios. This role also acts as the point of contact for our clients’ technical queries and provides exposure to attending client meetings with PWAs.
What we look for in successful candidates
First and foremost, you are a seasoned professional, ideally with a minimum of 2+ years in a Paraplanning or AA position. Having completed or be working towards the completion of FASEA qualification would be advantageous. You’re hard working, resilient and committed to delivering positive outcomes for clients and colleagues.
Secondly, you have solid understanding of tax, superannuation, retirement income streams, investments and social security. Lastly, at Shadforth we pride ourselves on providing quality client service to our clients so having a focus on excellent client service and the ability to use initiative and judgement in problem solving situations will really help you hit the ground running in this actioned packed role.
