San Remo is a market-leading, national food company based in Adelaide, seeking a dynamic, up and coming brand marketer to join our exceptional marketing team. 

As Associate Brand Manager-San Remo, you’ll be working with a team of high calibre marketers in a fast paced, supportive, team-oriented environment. 

The successful applicant will initially report to the Brand Marketing Manager and will take the lead on managing a portfolio of exciting, high growth brands. 

And once you’ve had a chance to settle in, prove your skills and get your feet wet, the role will rapidly evolve to full Brand Management status and responsibility. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

As Associate Brand Manager, you will help plan and execute all marketing activities across a San Remo portfolio, covering a wide section of categories; taking the lead in campaigns that help grow the brand as you grow with it. 

Specific responsibilities will include;

  • Assist the Brand Marketing Manager in crafting and implementing comprehensive brand marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Work directly with our Digital Team to develop and execute winning social media campaigns for assigned brands, mastering content creation, scheduling, community management, and performance analysis.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of trends and understand consumer behaviour.
  • Support the creation of impactful marketing materials, including presentations, press releases, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Manage brand assets, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity across all channels.
  • Monitor brand performance through market research and sales data, generating insightful reports for analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, sales) to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist with planning and execution for brand activations and product launches.

Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A proven track record of successful (assistant) brand marketing experience over a period of at least two years preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
  • Strong team work ethic with the capacity to inspire others with your enthusiasm and supportive attitude. 
  • Creative and innovative thinking ability.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of brand marketing trends and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Commerce
  • Minimum two years (assistant) brand management experience in consumer goods
  • Excellent Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Creative and enthusiastic with a passion for consumer brands
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with social media marketing platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) is a strong asset.
  • Detail orientated and well organised
