CommBank’s Market Operations Business, is looking for an Associate to join our Global Lending Governance team which is designed to embed a streamlined approach and maintain Quality Assurance in the application of lending and transactional product processes to service IB&M clients globally.
The Role.
You will uphold compliance of Corporate Lending transactions, working within the Loan IQ platform to ensure our complete regulatory and legal obligations are met. You will monitor and review inputted transactions to ensure compliance, and will provide training and coaching to colleagues on best practice.
You will forge and maintain strong working relationship with the wider Global Lending and Leasing team and across our relationship management, Product Management, Operations, Risk and Origination teams in order to continuously improve and streamline the corporate loan administration processes within the Loan IQ platform globally.
On any given day you will:
- Identify opportunities to enhance compliance, process adherence and qualitative assessments frameworks for implementation.
- Implement QA framework for Corporate Lending processes globally
- Maintain and uplift collateral artefacts including SOPs and Loan IQ Induction/training program.
- Contribute to management of an effective SLA and performance reporting framework.
- Contribute to internal and external reporting requirements, including regulatory reporting as required
- Escalate and resolve loan execution issues in an accountable and timely manner.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
Solid understanding of the Lending process with strong knowledge of the Loan IQ system. You will have experience mentoring and training colleagues on best practice with some demonstrable Quality Assurance or Investigative experience. Most importantly, you will have a strong desire and willingness to learn and develop yourself within this role.
You will also have:
- Demonstrable attention to detail skills and the ability to manage and prioritise own workload
- Commercially focused with strong analytical skills, including the ability to understand and analyse facility agreements and financial statements
- Strong ability to form relationships with internal customers and become a trusted partner to the business
- Ability to collaborate, coach and train team members to get the most out of everyone and contribute to a dynamic working environment
