About the role
The Associate Network Engineer role will require you to support networking infrastructure for Cenitex customers. You will use your experience, initiative and knowledge of networking infrastructure to resolve networking issues at customer sites. Those same skills will be needed with project and change requests to ensure that networking devices are configured to the highest standards to meet customer requirements.
What you'll be involved in:
- Identifying and resolving logical network infrastructure issues at customer sites
- Supporting various internal stakeholders such as, but not limited to Incident Management, Customer Engagement, Service Desk and senior Network and Facilities Engineers
- Communicating with customers, network engineers, vendors and third party support
You'll need to have:
- Experience working with networking technologies: routing and switching, wireless, firewalls, Software Defined WAN (e.g. Meraki), Network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds
- Customer focus to deliver excellent customer service
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to clearly communicate at all levels of the business and with third-party support vendors
- Be a positive and contributing member of a professional networking team
- Willing to be part of an after-hours on call roster
