Atlassian Administrator - Canberra - 3 to 4 months contract
Job Description:
- At least 3 years' experience administrating Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies
- Experience extending Atlassian products via code development is preferable
- Demonstrated experience in the configuration, maintenance, and administration of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk), including the devising, testing, and deploying integrations between Atlassian products and other internal tool chains
- Working with development and design teams to identify procedural efficiencies, such as with Jira Workflows, custom fields, dashboards, including the creation and implementation of unique and customised workflows and processes to assist corporate procedures and the evaluation and management of the usage of Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs
- Highly developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with: > Experience writing for a variety of audiences and purposes, including the creation of procedural documentation to support the maintenance and use of Atlassian products > Experience liaising with stakeholders at all levels, facilitating workshops, eliciting business requirements and conducting training on Jira operation and new functionalities
- Highly developed problem-solving and investigative skills in a technical environment, including research and implementation of new approaches on Jira and Confluence usage
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, working under limited supervision within a small team, reporting to the Technical Team Leader activities and issues as necessary, including prompt issue resolution with Jira Projects and Confluence in coordination with other teams
