Senior Audio Visual Systems Integration Technician

AV Media Systems is a nationally located and progressive company specialising in commercial audioVisual Systems Integration for the Government, Corporate, Education, Recreation & Worship sectors throughout Australia. We are a young and dynamic team of professionals with our Perth, Western Australian office located in Osborne Park.
A position currently exists for a suitably qualified person to oversee all areas of equipment within the project installation team delivering integrated technological solutions for a variety of applications including video conferencing, visual displays, custom LED video walls, controllers, interactive whiteboard screens, projection systems and audio solutions.
Working closely with sales staff and customers, you will be responsible for the professional and efficient installation and commissioning of a wide range of projects from pre-cabling right through to project completion & commissioning.
Experience in Pro AV system Installation and configuration with knowledge of relevant industry standards and practices is desirable together with a confident understanding of IT.
Experience in electrical, cabling, Telco, or IT installations including experience in managing projects, running installation teams and basic management reporting would be advantageous.
Experienced with hand tools, battery-operated power tools, scoping projects, working at heights and prior knowledge of construction techniques to aid in cabling and routing is a pre-requisite.
An electrical "A" grade licence and/or Austel cabling licence is highly regarded as would previous MATV and/or CCTV system experience. Sound knowledge of cabling termination methods and cabling procedures is essential. This is a full time position Monday to Friday offering a fully maintained vehicle and attractive salary to reflect relative skills and experience.
