You will be part of friendly team providing a professional and personalised service to ensure clients have a successful and effortless hearing care resolution, either through a WorkCover claim, Government’s Hearing Services Program or Private services. The role has no sales targets so you can focus on providing patient-centric care without the pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting hearing assessments and diagnosis
- Fitting and prescribing hearing aids
- Conducting adjustments, maintenance and minor repairs of hearing aids
- Assisting Ear, Nose & Throat specialists
- Diagnosis of audiograms
- Attending to client enquiries, follow ups and annual reviews when needed
- Conducting telehealth appointments where applicable
- Conducting annual reviews as per WorkCover and HSP fee schedules
Requirements:
- Degree in Audiology / Certification in Audiometry
- Minimum of 12 months experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly, approachable, empathetic demeanour
- Team player with a passion for helping others
- Able to travel to regional sites when needed (driving license required)
