Seeking an experienced Audit and Compliance Officer to join the the University of Adelaide Risk Services Branch.
The Audit and Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting compliance and associated activities throughout the University. The compliance services include advisory to the University, managing the legal compliance framework, handbook and tools, managing the compliance incident reporting process, compliance training and awareness including fraud and corruption. The position also supports the execution of the Internal Audit Program through the outsourced Internal Audit provider and merger related assurance work.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance and audit processes.
- Business or industry experience in compliance and/or audit.
- Demonstrated experience in researching, analysing information, solving problems, and providing concise and to-the-point advice.
- Demonstrated experience in the collection, manipulation, analysis and reporting of data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders.
