The Role
As a direct report to the CEO, you'll spearhead the development and oversight of governance within an expanding energy-efficiency certificate creation business.
In what will be a very autonomous role, team collaboration is essential to ensure true success.
Key responsibilities
- Assume ownership of risk management strategies and handle customer complaints effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive companywide documentation, including form registers, version control, and archiving, while ensuring adherence to record-keeping procedures.
- Establish and oversee the external audit control process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Take charge of leading and refining the scheme administrator management process.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success Manager to create and update customer training materials, enhancing customer satisfaction and understanding.
- Become an expert in scheme systems such as Dataforce and Alitsy, facilitating efficient operations.
- Manage and execute the Approved Representatives Process, overseeing insurances, licenses, and training records for all approved representatives.
- Ensure the accurate and timely upload of completed batches of ESCS, PRCS, VEECS, and STC into the respective Scheme portals on a weekly basis.
- Manage risk management processes across the business.
About You
- 4+ years in any form of compliance, auditing or quality assurance.
- Must be able to work autonomously and well within a collaborative team environment.
- Experienced in developing and implementing governance and auditing systems and processes.
- Proven ability to improve processes, provide solutions, and problem-solve.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines, independently and prioritise your time.
- Exposure to energy-efficiency schemes is desirable (VEU, ESS or REPS).
