AddressAuto Electrician
- $72.94 flat per hour plus Super
- 7/7 roster – 12hr shifts
- Accommodation/Meals & Bus to site.
About the Role
Our client is looking for a mining Auto electrician to work on site at there site near Blackwater. You will required to perform regular plant/equipment inspections, assist and communicate with the maintenance team regarding timelines for repairs and service of plant, identify possible opportunities that may improve the maintenance on site and report to supervisor, keep SAP work orders updated and closed as jobs are completed, ensure all tooling is fit for purpose and any other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
You will have a thorough understanding of individual responsibilities in relation to the Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulations.
Skills/Experience
▪ Sound communication skills
▪ Basic computer skills, word processing and spread sheeting
▪ Ability to self-manage and prioritise work load
▪ Ability to exercise initiative and work both independently and co-operatively as required.
Experience
▪ Previous experience working on plant and machinery within a mining or heavy industry environment
▪ Previous experience with automotive air conditioning
Qualifications
- Trade qualified
- Applicable Coal Competencies
- Confined Space (desirable)
- Current open drivers’ license
- Standard 11
- Coal board medical
