- Always adhere to safety standards
- Coordinate with other workers in the workshop to ensure the workflow is appropriately placed
- Liaise with estimators if required
- Notify of any product shortages which would restrict production
- Ensure quality level is at maximum
- Check the schedule daily to ensure timeframes are met
- Carry out pre and post repair scans using the supplied diagnostic scan tool
- Carry out all required A/C de-gas and/or re-gas, repairs, and other tasks as required, to meet panel shop demands
- Fit aftermarket products retailed through Border Off Road & BF Panels
- Replace any defective parts – fuses, lamps, switches – and inform the owner and/or the production manager of any defects not accident related that we could potentially up-sell
- Use & maintain the appropriate test equipment and follow procedures for dismantling, removing, replacing, testing
- Attend any company provided training courses to ensure kept up to date with new additions to electrical systems
- Attend roadside assistance calls in BF Panels roadside service van (Flat batteries, flat tyres, vehicles out of fuel, etc.)
- Attend A/H roadside assistance calls in BF Panels roadside service van if rostered on
- Carry out any other duties as required by the workshop Centre Manager
- Candidate must be Trade Qualified License
- Mechanical knowledge to assist in the overall application of electrical works
- Computer knowledge to enable application of appropriate software with any electronic devices
- An overall aptitude for technical activities
- An eye for quality and high level of customer service is essential for all employee
