Automotive Heavy Body Builder Apprenticeship

Our client provides a range of services and solutions for the road transportation sector and is looking for an apprentice Body Builder to fabricate and install custom bodies onto the chassis of a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, refrigerated vehicles.
The successful applicant will complete a Certificate III - Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations - Bus, Truck & Trailer.

• Prepare and operate tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Monitor and maintain automotive equipment.
• Read and interpret work orders and work drawings.
• Perform basic welding, thermal and mechanical cutting, heating and gouging.
• Fabricate, repair and install custom bodies onto the chassis of a variety of heavy vehicles 

• Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
• Completion of Year 10 High School
• Drivers Licence desirable but not essential
• Willing to undertake police check and pre employment medical if required
