We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Service Manager to join our Burswood team and contribute to our ongoing success.
About the Role
As an Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our service department operations. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining high standards of service quality, customer satisfaction, and team performance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering top-notch service to our customers.
Role Requirements
- The successful applicant will be required to manage and lead a team of skilled automotive technicians and pre delivery staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the efficient scheduling of appointments, allocation of resources, and timely completion of automotive repairs and services.
- Uphold quality standards by inspecting completed work, conducting regular performance evaluations, and providing necessary training and guidance to the team.
- Manage inventory levels, order necessary parts and equipment, and ensure accurate record-keeping of stock.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry standards.
- Monitor departmental budgets, control expenses, and contribute to revenue growth through upselling services.
Qualifications
- You will need experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar role in a reputable Automotive Service center.
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using Automotive Service management software and tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
